Booking a session – COVID-19
Following the Government advice and bearing in mind my Clients’ safety at that moment I will not offer massage to Clients who are “Clinically extremely vulnerable” and “Clinically vulnerable”.
Here is the definition of “Clinically extremely vulnerable” and “Clinically vulnerable” https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/people-at-higher-risk/whos-at-higher-risk-from-coronavirus/
I regularly check the NHS and the Government website for updates and I will post here when there are changes.
What is the process of booking a client?
When you decide to contact me about booking an appointment, we will have a telephone consultation. The aim of the over-the-phone consultation is to establish what is your expectation from the massage session and also to check any contraindications to massage.
If it is safe, we book a session.
The day before the session I will contact you to check if you feel alright and have no symptoms of COVID-19. The symptoms can be found here https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/
If you experience the symptoms please follow the NHS guidance https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/
Please, bear in mind that I trust you will be honest with me.
On the day of the massage, I will arrive at your home with my equipment (table, massage oil) and disinfectants, mask, visor and gloves (if you wish me to use them). I will no longer provide towels. I need you to have 2 or 3 towels (depends on the size of the towels) that I use during the session for draping and to cover the table. Before the session, I will sanitize the table, wash my hands and sanitize them, put a mask on and then we can start.
This is a “new normal” that we all need to get used to in order to provide our services in a safe manner.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Take care
